It saved me emotionally. The main character is BU, a dog that was about to die but was spared under extreme circumstances. Living in the face of so much loneliness and abandonment, she is weak, with damaged skin and appalling malnutrition.

This happened in Mexico, in the Yucatán. We learned of the BU case via Dania Gordillo, one of our readers. When she was found about 7:00 a.m., nobody stopped to help her because of the heavy traffic. But Second Chance’s tender look changed BU’s destiny profoundly. Running under a car most certainly resulted in the blow on her head.

He had no hunger, couldn’t get up, and didn’t want to fight any more for the first several days. But anything is possible with love, thus he overcame all obstacles and progressively got better.

Amazingly so! Resurrected, she is incredibly cute and animated. She is ready to appreciate people and express her gratitude for their protection because her heart is so pure.

Although his physical health returned, the abuse had made his mental wounds worse.

But now, BU is in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, and she needs a family, a place to call home and be loved and accompanied for the rest of her life. They also express willingness to proceed with overseas adoption as long as all requirements are met.
