An Unlucky Finish

Ritter and his sister had to be turned over to a shelter while their family was experiencing a lot of difficulties.

The Hamilton County, Indiana Humane Society accepted them without hesitation and expressed sadness at his condition.

He looked to have given up on life entirely, so despondent.Ritter only knew he wanted his family back; he couldn’t comprehend why they had left him there.

Regretfully, that was never going to happen.The workers of the shelter snapped a picture of this amazing puppy and shared it on social media to help spread awareness about him.

The picture became widely disseminated on all social media sites really fast.Seeing this dejected puppy, the humans offered to assist anyhow they could.

Ritter’s Latest Prospect

Megan, one of the shelter’s employees, told WISH-TV in Indiana that they were fortunate to capture the image and that it serves as a symbol of not only Ritter but all animals in need.

This happened to capture the essence of what a great number of dogs experience in their lives on the streets and in shelters.

We must assist all of these sweet canines who were turned in to a shelter; everyone of them has a tragic reason for being there.

Ultimately, though, Ritter’s social media fame allowed him to find his forever home rather fast, and he currently leads an incredible life.

His sibling was not lucky enough to find a new home yet, but the shelter staff is making every effort to help him and all the other dogs there.

The amount of work they put into assisting every dog in finding a loving family is astounding.
